What specific feature did you like most about working with Code Providence?

James provided me with consistently high-quality code in a timely way. He is a pleasure to work with—conversational, not defensive, able to explain complex code to a novice like myself, and gives great results.

What did you find as a result of working with Code Providence?

I found that my aspirations for my website were met.

What was the obstacle that would have prevented you from working with Code Providence?

If Code Providence hadn’t been easy to reach via email or text (slow response), I would have moved on. The most important feature of a good partnership with a web developer is access. I appreciated that James was always easily found and reached.

Would you recommend working with Code Providence? If so, why?

I recommend working with Code Providence because the work is high quality and there is a commitment to timely service.

Anything else you want to add?

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by programming when you are not a programmer. What make working with James so wonderful is that I never feel like my questions or ideas are seen as ridiculous or somehow unattainable. James brings a level head and steady hand to the work, and a sympathetic posture so that I feel free to dream and create.

What specific feature did you like most about working with Code Providence?

Hard to choose one feature – James is gifted, kind, great with people, and super intelligent.

Another featured that stands out is responsiveness. When you’re building something from scratch like we were, the application is very important to you…so important that you want to constantly know what’s happening. James was keen to that and was always responsive to my ideas and questions.

What did you find as a result of working with Code Providence?

It’s evident that James is passionate about helping those in need, and about solving problems.

For example, one time we visited a children’s hospital together and heard how complex it was for nurses to get funding for their ideas. I could tell that this struck a cord with James—he wanted to help them and given his strong background in technology, he had the ability create workable, scalable solutions.

James’ drive to help the nurses, along with his experience in solving problems with tech, really helped Anddit become what it is today.

What was the obstacle that would have prevented you from working with Code Providence?

Values. If our values weren’t aligned, than working together wouldn’t be possible.

Would you recommend working with Code Providence? If so, why?

Yes, I would hire James again.

He makes any idea better, he can implement solutions faster than anyone I’ve known, and he’s a really, really, good person.

What would be other benefits about working with Code Providence?
  1. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, especially given limited budget.
  2. Learn about how something works (rather than just having a developer create it in a silo).
  3. Enjoy the experience of building something (it’s fun working with James)
